The after-school program is held during the acedemic year.  While traditionally held three days a week, we are working to change this to 5 days a week.  This program seeks to address the needs of neighborhood children by offering an after school opportunity with these elements: Tutoring, Recreation, Crafts, Christian Spirituality, etc. 

Along with these and interactions with people form neighboring Episcopal and Lutheran parishes, the after-school program is making a real difference in the lives of children.  There are approximately ten Messiah College volunteers who help with this nine month program.  Through generous donations from indidviduals, congregations, the diocese, and the synod this program is offered to the children of the community free of charge.
