Since 1993, St. Stephen's has proudly hosted the Great Pumpkin Chase, a 5k race and 1-mile fun run starting at City Island in Harrisburg.  This is St. Stephen's major fundraising event with all proceeds directly benefiting local outreach initiatives include St. Barnabas. 

Last year was the 16th year of the Great Pumpkin Chase, and their motto was "while these are challenging times, they're not impossible times; together we can make a difference!"  Well, together everyone sure did make a difference:  there were a record number of 650 runners and $15,000 to distribute among the 5 local outreach ministries.
